Hi, I’m Stephanie Barberi — wife, mom, business owner, beauty artist, educator, and the face behind Wildflower Aesthetics.

I’m a licensed cosmetologist and licensed tattoo artist with a passion for making people feel confident in their own skin. At Wildflower Aesthetics, I offer a range of beauty services including permanent makeup, full-body waxing, brows, lash services, skincare, fine-line tattoos, and more.

But before Wildflower, there was a whole lot of trial, error, hard work, and figuring out exactly where I belonged in the beauty industry.

I’m 32, originally from Central New Jersey, and I’ve been in the beauty industry since 2012. I actually started cosmetology school during my junior year of high school, thinking hair would be my forever career. Spoiler alert… it wasn’t.

After realizing hair wasn’t quite my thing, I found my way into the waxing industry. That job completely changed the direction of my career. I fell in love with brows, skincare, and the confidence that comes from helping someone feel amazing about themselves.

My career in waxing eventually brought me to Florida, where I became a Regional Trainer for a large waxing franchise. That experience shaped so much of who I am today. I learned how to train artists, open new locations, speak in front of a crowd, build confidence in other artists, and most importantly, I discovered just how much I LOVE teaching.

Teaching has always been a huge passion of mine, and it’s something I’ve carried with me into Wildflower.

Then came permanent makeup.

I stumbled across an ad for microblading one day and, for whatever reason, I immediately felt like I needed to learn it. After years of shaping brows with wax and creating them with makeup, permanent makeup felt like the perfect combination of everything I already loved.

So I took the leap.

I invested in training, practiced constantly in my free time, worked on perfecting my craft, and continued learning from other artists. In 2020, I finally took another huge leap and opened Wildflower Aesthetics.

Yes… 2020. Probably the most questionable year possible to open a business.

But somehow, it all worked out.

Since opening Wildflower, I’ve continued to invest in education, expand my services, refine my techniques, and grow into the artist and educator I am today. What started as a dream has grown into a business, a team, a teaching platform, and a community that I’m incredibly proud of.

Education is a huge part of who I am, and I don’t believe in simply teaching someone a technique and sending them on their way.

When you train with me, you’re learning from someone who has spent years behind the chair, behind the waxing table, behind the PMU machine, and in the classroom. I’ve been the student, the artist, the trainer, the business owner, and the educator — and I bring all of those experiences into my courses.

My goal is to teach you not only how to perform a service, but how to understand what you’re doing, build confidence in your work, create beautiful healed results, and actually build a career around your skill.

I keep my classes small and hands-on because I want my students to receive real attention, honest feedback, and support beyond the classroom. My students aren’t just another number in a course — I want to be a resource you can continue coming back to as you grow.
